2026 Cappies Gala
The 2026 Cappies Gala will be held at DAR Constitution Hall on Sunday, June 6 at 7:00 pm
Every year, Cappies participants and supporters gather to celebrate a year of phenomenal high school theatre at our annual Cappies Gala. At the Gala, performance groups comprised of students from throughout the National Capital Area chapter entertain massive audiences, and schools with nominated plays and musicals perform excerpts from their shows. Awards are presented, as determined by our voting student critics, and every participating Cappies school is celebrated for another year of making art and bringing students together.
Ticket Information
For on-sale dates and ticket pickup information, please visit our calendar. The ticket reservation form typically opens in April with tickets available for pickup one week before the Gala.
Tickets for the Cappies Gala must be requested through a participating school’s theatre teacher/director. Participating schools will send families information on requesting tickets directly through their theatre department.

The Cappies Gala sells out every year, and we do not sell tickets at the door.
